Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 13, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Pomodoroly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. By using Pomodoroly, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data Collection and Usage
- Local Data Storage: Most of your data, including focus sessions, tasks, and timer settings, is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not have access to this personal information on our servers.
- Usage Analytics: When analytics are enabled, we collect anonymized usage statistics (such as session duration, feature interactions, and completed tasks) via Google Analytics for Firebase. This helps us understand user behavior and improve the app experience.
- Marketing Attribution Data: We use Apple’s AdServices framework and RevenueCat to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on the App Store. This data helps us understand, in an aggregated and non-personal manner, which advertising campaigns and search contexts contributed to app installations. The information is used solely for internal marketing optimization and to measure Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). It is not used to identify you personally or to track you across other third-party applications. This attribution data is processed in compliance with Apple’s privacy guidelines and is not combined with other personal data.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide certain features and maintain the application, we integrate the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob uses device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure ad performance. These identifiers are only accessed if you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage premium subscriptions, verify in-app purchases (payment processing is handled securely by Apple and we do not store your credit card information), and process anonymized marketing attribution data originating from Apple Search Ads in order to analyze campaign performance.
- Firebase: We use Firebase services, including Google Analytics for usage tracking, App Check for security, and Remote Config for real-time app management.
- Apple AdServices: We integrate Apple’s AdServices framework to attribute app installations to our App Store advertising campaigns. This process involves the device generating a cryptographically signed attribution token that is sent to Apple to determine the source of the installation. This process does not provide us with personally identifiable information. The attribution token is generated by the operating system and does not allow Pomodoroly to access information about your searches or other apps.
4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Opt-Out
On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for advertising purposes. You may deny or revoke this permission at any time via your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
Analytics Control: You can manage your preference for sharing anonymized usage analytics data directly within the App Settings menu of Pomodoroly. Disabling this option will stop the collection of usage data via Firebase Analytics.
Please note that Apple Search Ads attribution (via Apple AdServices) is a privacy-focused attribution method provided by Apple and operates independently from cross-app tracking. You can manage your Apple advertising preferences through your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising).
5. Data Security
We implement security measures like Firebase App Check to protect against unauthorized access and ensure the integrity of our services.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by clearing the app data or uninstalling the application. For analytics and attribution data, you may exercise your right to opt out via system or in-app settings.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating this page and revising the effective date.

9. Consent
By using the Pomodoroly app, you consent to the collection and processing of the data described above in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You also acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of anonymized attribution-related data, including advertising and subscription attribution data, for analytics, advertising performance measurement, subscription management, and app improvement purposes.
